This has been a long time coming, and probably overdue a little bit. We're sad to announce that Rewind Gaming will officially cease any future operations as a tournament organisation. Thank you all for the great times, and the huge support we've received over the last 3 years. 💙

Aight peeps, some news:
I've rewritten the @RewindRL dynamic stream overlay updater for the Google Sheets API v4 but it needs testing since I don't do many esports things any more 😢 - If you have the time and knowledge, please check out the script below: github.com/rewindrl/updater/…
For those that miss it (we certainly do) we've uploaded the VODs we could find from the Neon Dream on our YouTube channel!

Those of you who run event broadcasts: since RG doesn't need it any more we're releasing the code for our dynamic overlay system. It's pretty rad because it should slot nicely into any HTML overlay and uses Google Sheets so is reliable and quick to update.

Wow. What a series!
We finish today's final with an extremely tense Game 7.
🏆 Congratulations to @Totalschadenrl for winning the #RGSummerTrials!
GGs to everyone who competed, and good luck for RLRS.
🔴 GAME 7 IN THE FINALS. WE REPEAT. GAME 7 IN THE FINALS. 🔴
@totalschadenrl vs Baguette Squad. This is some of the best Rocket League we've seen!

Get yo butts in here for the first semi-final starting in just a sec! twitch.tv/RewindRL
There's little nicer than a zero-second goal to win a match.
We can only imagine how @GerryGoorlap must feel, scoring one to win the SERIES!

Could this be the best goal we see today!?
@ThO_RL pulls off a beautiful air dribble and scores for Flomp Resont with a zero-degree angle!

Our first match-up is complete, with Baguette Squad taking a 3-2 victory over Discombobulators!
Congratulations to both teams, and we'll see you in the next round.

We're seeing some very nice goals in this first round of the finals!
A lovely dribble goal from @NachitowRL, finishing with a flick over the defense!

We've been leading up to this for two weeks. It's time for the finals of the #RGSummerTrials!
The stream is live. The matches are underway. All we need now is for you to watch!

The matches are done. The scores have been finalised. The maths has been...maths-ed?
Let's look at the scores on the board!

As you may notice, we had a three-way tie for 8th place!
As such, @UniquestarsRL, @Nlesportitaly and N0 HOR!ZON have all played matches against each other off-stream to determine which team earned their spot in the finals.
And we're done! Flomp Resont (@GodsmillaRL, @ThO_RL and @Nolystic) take the win over @totalschadenrl to walk away with the full 15 points and 3rd place. GGs to everyone who played today, and good luck to those going forward into the Finals on the 8th!
