World-leading cardiac surgeon Asif Hasan was surrounded by the children who received the gift of life thanks to his unerring skills at the emotional climax of another memorable Pride of Britain ceremony. 🥹 Now 70 years old, Mr Hasan has just retired after 35 years of service at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne, but just after receiving his Lifetime Achievement Award, he had an extra special surprise: a cast of patients who would not be alive without him. ❤️

Fries my brain how these lot are the only people to ever acknowledge that pre season trophy. Bucked them during the actual season and got slapped 8-2
The fact that Chelsea is the last team to break this invincible psg side is frying my brain out 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Bill Clinton: I'm tired of people denigrating Muslims for being Muslims. The Quran says, and I first heard this from my daughter, who read the Quran from start to finish when she was 15 years old, and she said, "Read this." Allah put the different people on the earth not that they might despise one another, but that they might come to know one another and learn from one another. There are bad actors in every faith because we're all flawed human beings. But the religious wars, the culture wars, I'm just tired.

Kyle Walker on #ManCity’s situation: “It's the big elephant in the room we're probably all going to be asked when doing interviews or whatever. “It doesn't look great. Let's not hide from the fact they've been found guilty but they're going through an appeal. As a player all I can say is all we did is go out and play our best as a team and I'll defend the players for the rest of my life, because I feel what we did and achieved in that time was incredible and probably won't be done ever again. “But from the outside looking in, it doesn't look great and we have to address that…” [via @talkSPORT]

Crazy how empty it is… 🤯
Manchester City’s Champions League attendances are simply bizarre. 🤨 I remember them back in League 1 with higher attendances, I don’t get it at all… 😬

8 - All eight of Alexis Mac Allister's UEFA Champions League goals have been scored at Anfield. It's the most goals scored by a player in Champions League history with all of them coming at the same stadium. Homely.
