Happy Volunteers’ Day! An opportunity to recognise and thank the many volunteers who make so much happen in Australia.
Today DRCN Chaplains, alongside other Disaster Welfare Community Partner volunteers will be acknowledged by the Minister at Parliament House Sydney.
A year on from the catastrophic flooding I’m mindful of the communities of the northern rivers including Lismore. Tonight some of our DRCN chaplains are alongside the community and churches as they commemorate and support so many still doing it tough.
