Baking question. Why aren’t cobblers made with choux pastry?
I let my 3 year old son pick out the flowers for Mother’s Day and he picked out these flowers that just keep blooming and getting better. This kid picked out better flowers than I ever have.

A letter posted on a workplace: ATTENTION ALL SUBORDINATES: EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, CONVERSING ABOUT WAGES (BOTH ON DUTY AND OFF DUTY) IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. This is considered proprietary information and as such, it is protected legally. If you ane overheard speaking (OR LISTENING TO!) a conversation in which wages are discussed, you will receive disciplinary action up to and including termination. As a reminder, Kentucky is an at-will state, meaning your employment can be terminated for any reason without legal percussion. Or NO REASON. Have any questions, ask Jer.

Since research ain't your forte, I've included a link to the pertinent documents on the left, right, top, and bottom of this paper. Kinda hard to miss. Needless to say, you can't legally tell us not to discuss wages in the good ol' U.S. of A. We will continue to do so. Futhermore, for the sake of making this a little more streamlined, shall we? [list of names and pay rate follows, won’t all fit] The rest of your "subordinates" could not be reached, but they're welcome to post their wage above, Love. $10.50 an hour Shelly

I was today-years-old when I learned that a Fig Newton is 34 grams fig and just 0.27 newtons.
Told my wife that when buying eggs I don’t open the carton to look for broken ones. I just grab and go. She immediately reached for a bottle of wine to cope with this information. I can’t be the only one who does this.

Stay indoors. But also return in person. Wear a mask. Not that one. The expensive one, that you can’t find. Take rapid tests. Which you also can’t find. But if you find them, don’t buy them. Rapid tests don’t work. You need PCR. There are zero appointments in your area.

The neighborhood kids left a stick pile and wrote in sidewalk chalk, “For dogs, grab a stick here. Please take one.” and it’s maybe the most wholesome thing I’ve ever seen 😭
