Opening your property tax bill can feel like a gut punch. 😬 That’s why Amendment 3 is on your ballot this year. Here’s what a YES vote would do: 🏡 Raise the homestead exemption from $50,000 to $150,000 in 2027, then up to $250,000 in 2028. It applies to non-school property taxes. 📉 Lower the cap on yearly assessment increases for non-homestead property (rentals, second homes and businesses) from 10% to 5%. 🚒 Put fire and public safety first. Local governments would have to use property taxes for core needs like public safety, schools, infrastructure and operations. The video has some fun with it, but the amendment is real. Read the full ballot language, ask questions, and decide for yourself. Amendment 3 passes only if enough voters say yes, so every vote counts. 🔗 See what it could mean for your own bill with the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser’s Amendment 3 calculator: pbcpao.gov/Property/Amendmen… 🔗 Get Republican voting information and guides for this election: palmbeach.gop/electionmateri… Not sold in stores.
