Surprise. Ihatovo got an official, PHYSICAL, plug and play release this year. (Japanese only.) It comes with a controller and hooks up to a screen or monitor, no system needed! It's time to support physical releases now more than ever! One of my favorites!

Fantastic news! The computer's here again, as of a few minutes ago! I haven't hooked it up yet to confirm that everything works, but I HAVE confirmed they repaired it instead of replacing it outright, so I don't think I lost anything!

Great news: I should be able to get my new computer either repaired (or at least fully replaced) at some point in February free of charge. The manufacturer is going to pay for the cost of the shipping both ways. (Thank goodness!) Let's hope that it gets repaired, not replaced!

Uh oh. Twitter seems to have locked out chat with some sort of new identification system that I have to agree to, and I can't view my personal chats until I agree to it. But I need to contact my friend about the computer... I don't know what to do...

The problem is the new computer. It won't start up, display anything on the screen and won't recognize the keyboard, only the mouse. I applied multiple self-repair methods, but none worked. Repair shops cited ridiculously overpriced fees (sometimes more than the computer's cost)!

But today, I found out that the manufacturer offers repairs directly! Once they get it working, I'll regain access to the files that I did for Persona. I have to find a day when I can deliver (and retrieve) the computer. The situation isn't resolved, but it's no longer hopeless!

Bad news. The second fix didn't work, so now I'm in the worst possible situation. What happens now is still up in the air. I HOPE the situation can be resolved in December. Regardless of whether it is or isn't, I'll do what I can.

There were two possibile remedies to my problem. I was able to apply the first remedy. As I kind of expected, it made no difference. Later today, I will try to apply the second fix, which I'm (slightly) more hopeful about. If this doesn't work however, I'm in big trouble.

Made some more progress with Heartthrob Memorial 2. Made it to a small milestone despite being super busy this week. That felt nice! Tomorrow will be the biggest challenge for this week! 🤞 I'll do a bit more Persona dialogue, then I have to prepare for some "real" stuff!

I've got a real whirlwind of a week ahead of me, but I'll keep chipping away (with smaller daily quotas going forward until Friday) to keep up my momentum. And check out this motivational quote I saw in a video today. It came for me at the right time. Maybe it'll help you too.
