The downside to uncaring liberals working in the school system. Just like the liberal judges being dishonest and crooked punishing the innocent and freeing the criminals, the school system is just as bad.
the faculty that did nothing should be fired, and have their ability to work for schools taken away permanently, and the 2 kids that hurt her should be punished with probation, community service, where they have to work at a garbage dump or a manure farm!

Satya Nadella says Xbox’s ongoing restructuring is “great to see” despite thousands of layoffs, canceled games, and studio closures.

Spooky season is upon us so IMAGINE, a white face plate for streamdeck, that caould change color from temperature... to "Red" and when it does, it looks like blood.. the halloween "Bloody stream deck plate"!!! Thats because Gates is just an Idea's guy people credit him for windows, when it was Charles Simonyi and Paul Allen and 2 others that were the main tech people behind Windows. Gates was just a "salesman" or "pitch" guy so to speak in my eyes. Similar to Steve Jobs and the Woz.... Steve was the idea guy, Woz did the tech. At least Steve understood the tech more than Gates did!
When I talked to Gates in person, he said “experts tell me a long range electric semi truck is impossible”.
However, when I asked what his assumptions were about battery energy density and vehicle energy consumption per mile, which are the two numbers needed to determine range, he did not know either number!
I also offered to let him take one of our semi trucks for independent testing, but he declined. Not sure what more I could have done. 🤷♂️

Not mine... I dont have an @XBOX since the one I had back in 2020 blew up in sparks on me, and I will never own another. I dont use or play games from the @Microsoft store, and my @Windows on my stream PC hasn't had an update in almost 3 years now (made it so it permanently never updates) FURTHER more, IF and when @elgato ever made software for linux... I would be leaving Windows 100% (though Im strongly more and more considering 3rdparty software for Elgato products and leaving windows sooner... still debating that one)!
Microsoft wants to put ad breaks in your games. Well, sort of.
Microsoft filed a patent for a system that watches for "natural downtime" in a game. You beat a boss, finish a quest or end a round, and the game pauses to show you "promoted audio-visual content." That's an ad. It's your reward for winning.
Here's where it gets worse: there's a credit system. Watching ads earns you more ad-free playtime. The patent's own wording: "the credit delays suspension of the user's interaction." So your game gets suspended, and watching a commercial holds that off. That's a parking meter for fun.
To be fair, this is a patent application. Companies patent everything, most of it never ships, and nothing in it says it touches games you paid for. The likely targets are free-to-play and cloud gaming, where Microsoft has already tested ad-supported tiers.
The scary part is where this is heading. TV invented the ad break. Streaming swore it would be different, and the ads came back anyway. Now the biggest company in gaming has drawn up a blueprint for them.
