I'm talking about more then eyes. Esp now with a known Funky design as comparison there is just odd differences. The completely different face / mouth shape (esp for smiling), DK's Small separate ear, the more cone-like head shape. Does not match any of his new 2D art either.
As the final DK Bananza Event is announced as happy as I am that Funky Kong is his same ol' self. Unfortunately confirms a worry back when the redesign was announced in that DK no longer fits the visual style next to other Kongs, (as well as Diddy and Dixie with their weird eyes)

The Blue Fairy and Geppetto are extremely obvious visual inspirations to their designs but I have never seen anyone bring it up like ever lol
Very happy to see Conker: Live and Reloaded be released on PC alongside other Xbox games. I really hope more of Rare's backlog gets ported to PC, it would be great to have them more accessible for more people.

Will likely be picking this up for Rambi, but Diddy Kong looks so bad its comical. I thought this would be the case but the stupid little skin line on the face looks even worse because of having to be put on a small toy.

I'm so incredibly happy to know that one of Makino's original Sonic maquette is still around. It is indescribably cool me (especially as a 3D artist!). The other new photos from around when it was made is also really nice to have.

The first ever Sonic reference statue has been restored! According to the label even restored by the original artist who made him, Taku Makino! So incredibly happy to see this, genuinely my favorite thing to happen so far for the 35th Anniversary.
