🔥 From 12 to 21 August 2026, @RestlessDev delivered in-person training on civic education, evidence-based advocacy, leadership, and accountability across six regions in Tanzania, in collaboration with eight youth-led CSOs.
👥 The activity brought together 581 participants, including 509 young people aged 15-35, 27 youth-led CSO leaders, and 45 local government decision-makers.
🗣️ Through interactive sessions, role-plays, and group discussions, participants strengthened their knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to advocate on issues affecting young people, participate in decision-making spaces, and engage duty-bearers.
🤝 The training also created opportunities for young people, youth-led organizations and local government representatives to connect around youth participation, accountability and community action.
💡 Participants reported greater confidence in expressing their ideas, leading community initiatives, and engaging in governance and development discussions, and committed to strengthening collective youth action by sharing their learning with other young people and coordinating advocacy on community issues.
