Honoured and excited to share my experience at the Respiratory Genomics 2025 conference in Leicester, UK! 🧬👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️ I had the privilege of presenting our groundbreaking Nepal Family Cohort Study (NeFCoS) to a global audience of scientists and clinicians. It was inspiring to discuss how our study is set to uncover the key genetic and environmental factors behind various diseases, with a special focus on lung health in Nepal. I am absolutely thrilled to announce a major milestone for our team: in the next 3-4 months, we will have genotyping data for 2,500 of our participants! This will be the first-ever genetic dataset of its kind in Nepal, paving the way for unprecedented discoveries about respiratory health in our population. 🇳🇵 A huge thank you to the hosts—the University of Leicester, University of Cambridge, and University of Nottingham—for the invitation and the wonderful opportunity. This is a huge step for Nepali science and global health!
