Muir traced some campaign tactics to B.C.’s forestry battles...1980s and 1990s...retail pressure, celebrity campaigns, restaurant pledges and dramatic imagery moved environmental disputes into public and political pressure. #SalmonFarming #BritishColumbia seawestnews.com/inside-the-p…

Talking with people who see the world differently than we do is not only a worthwhile endeavour, it should be part of normal life. We all have our blind spots so getting outside our own bubble and having spirited but respectful debate can only make us better. I was pleased to join @BCGreens Leader @Emily_Lowan and @CPC_HQ MP @ellisbross for a lively discussion about the future of B.C.’s resource economy. We certainly didn’t agree on everything, and that’s the point. Here’s a great write-up from @sjmuir that captures the discussion: resourceworks.com/the-brad-w…

It’s not a question of why - but how - we get more resource development going in B.C. Yesterday, PCA was proud to sponsor @Resource_Works Get It Done B.C. 2026 conference. It was an invigorating day of discussion, learning, and networking with leaders from all levels of government and industry, focused on how we can build a strong natural resource economy that benefits all British Columbians, and, by extension, all Canadians. Thank you to Resource Works for bringing together such an important conversation! #GetItDoneBC #BCConstruction #ProgressiveConstruction

Yesterday, CAOEC had the opportunity to participate in the second annual GET IT DONE B.C. forum in Vancouver, hosted by @Resource_Works. A clear message emerged throughout the day: action is needed to unlock British Columbia’s full energy potential and strengthen its economy.

Canada is ready to build - I’ve never seen this degree of alignment. In 2017 the proponent walked away from Pacific NorthWest LNG at Prince Rupert. Had project opened on original schedule in 2019, my conservative estimate is it would have shipped about C$93 billion of LNG by now. The tally passes C$100 billion in mid-January. Investors are undoubtedly chewing over these same facts. Hence the importance of getting it right this time. #InvestInCanada #CanadaEconomy #GetItDoneBC

Great to join friends at @Resource_Works this afternoon, and to hear from Mayor Ken Sim and many more on the golden opportunity to build back from B.C.’s degrowth era. Reasons for optimism if we organize, professionalize, and don’t take showing up at the ballot box for granted. @McInnis_4MLA

For 11 years, Liberal policies have worked to keep Canadian resources in the ground and major projects from getting built. Mark Carney refuses to repeal the same anti-development agenda: the Never Build Anything Anywhere Bill C-69, the Shipping Ban Bill C-48, drilling bans, the oil and gas cap, the federal industrial carbon tax, the fuel standard, and endless red tape. These policies block Canadian energy, choke off resource development and exports, kill jobs, drive investment out of Canada, and weaken our country at the worst possible time. Canada has the resources, workers, technology, and talent to lead the world. Conservatives will fight to repeal and reform anti-development Liberal laws, unleash Canadian energy and resources, restore private-sector confidence, get major projects built, create good jobs, and give Canada strength at home with unbreakable leverage abroad.

Excited to have this conversation on Monday. Thanks for inviting me and hosting this! 🙌🏽
UNDRIP uncertainty shapes every major project decision in B.C., and nobody has a settled answer on what certainty looks like. MLA @a_warbus, and @Nang_Unsat discuss how proponents, Nations, and governments ensure project certainty, partnership, and prosperity in light of changing attitudes. Moderated by @Margare7a. #GetItDoneBC
