A few @DefendTheNorth shoutouts for the out-of-town folks and staff... First, thank you so much to Rene of @arcadecandyco for the amazing prize bundle! Many of you are familiar with Rene's excellent work: beautifully detailed pins and the vibrant holograms. I have met Rene several times at @TheJazzyCircuit Finale and other events, and he's such a supportive guy who does this for love of the game. I never chat with you as much as I'd like to at events, Rene, because I'm always running off to play more games lmao but it put a big smile on my face to receive this gift from you from across the country! I use my 3S 25th Anniversary keychain every day, and I will be purchasing more of your goods as gifts in the future, as we discussed :) I encourage everyone to check out his work and support a great artisan. P.S. Thanks for tweeting a lot of my clips, and I forgive you for tweeting Kyoshiro's amazing comeback again me lol @gamerjim_ - It was a total surprise to meet one of my twitter buddies, Gamer Jim (or is that your dad?). Thanks for the great chat! You were a delight, as expected, and I'm glad that you found IRL Poe to be much nicer than the raging asshole that you'd expected to meet from my twitter feed 🤠 Marsgatti (twitter unknown) - if I'd realized I was playing a legend, I'd have been a lot more nervous during our set lol It was great to put a face to a name, and hopefully I'll see you in Philly someday when I visit The Lab. And finally, thank you to @ArcadeBrooklyn , Super Joe, @beast1x5 , @LdaAnd, @DRB3000 and everybody at Brooklyn Games and Arcade, including Esteban's awesome family. I just snuck in at the end of the event, but it seems like the whole weekend was a big success, and I'm happy for yall! Let's all keep coming together to support this amazing venue that we are so blessed to have. Not many people in the world have access to this kind of fighting game venue/arcade, so let's keep rallying together and keep making memories. SHORYUKEN!
