What did everyone get up to on their bank holiday weekend? 🌦️ We took an extra day this #TuesdayaboutTown to check out the awesome work over at @YorkTogether, a community group tackling social injustice across the city – making it a better place for everyone who lives there 🏙️
At the end of the evening, all community members can vote on which proposal they think should be prioritised – funds from tickets sales are distributed among the projects accordingly 🗳️

It is #WebNewsday, my dudes! The Webs keep coming & they don't stop coming... Last week it was Carmarthen, this week it's Stroud 🐸 Gloucestershire is home to a great many climate action networks, including Berkeley Vale, Chalford, Dursley, Horsley... 🤯 Not to mention @TTStroud!

ALT A newspaper is outlined against a the backdrop of a green bus in Stroud. The paper is titled "The Web Weekly", with the tagline "It Is Web-News-Day, My Dudes!". A picture of the Gloucester Co-Operative in Stroud is depicted on the newspaper along with a picture of a frog, and a notification bell with the number 1. The import of all other pictured text is included in the main post text.
The Stroud Resilience Web connects these networks to each other and to other local groups and businesses, including make-do-and-menders like @AtelierStroud, conservationists such as @gloswildlife and @WildStroud, gardeners at @LCMGCIC, and many many more! 🤝
Yesterday, we spent our #TuesdayaboutTown in Gloucestershire – visiting the Trinity Rooms Community Hub (@Stroud_TRCH), part of the new Stroud Resilience Web 🥕 The Rooms are home to a pay-as-you-can community pantry, as part of the Hubbub Community Fridge Network 🧊
Trinity Rooms also host a range of community events, including monthly repair cafés and a weekly club run by @AtelierStroud 🪡 Shout-out to Stroud Earth Community for building this fantastic hub for climate and community in the Stroud area!
Find out more about what's on at the Trinity Rooms via the Resilience Web site: stroud.resilienceweb.org.uk/… 🌳 #resilienceweb #stroud #stroudresilienceweb #gloucestershire #climatejustice #socialjustice #earthprotectortowns #makedoandmend #costoflivingcrisis #mutualaid #foodbanks
