$RSR — Reserve Rights
ㅤ
Stablecoins are becoming one of crypto’s biggest real-world use cases.
ㅤ
$RSR is built around the infrastructure behind them.
ㅤ
Reserve Rights is a protocol focused on creating and governing asset-backed stablecoins called RTokens, with RSR playing a role in governance and risk protection.
ㅤ
Save this checklist:
ㅤ
-> What it does
ㅤ
Reserve helps communities create stablecoins backed by baskets of different assets.
ㅤ
Think:
ㅤ
Stablecoins.
Asset-backed tokens.
Governance.
Collateral management.
DeFi infrastructure.
ㅤ
-> Main narrative
ㅤ
Stablecoins.
RWA.
DeFi.
Collateral.
On-chain Finance.
ㅤ
-> Why it matters
ㅤ
Stablecoins are becoming core infrastructure for payments, trading, and savings.
ㅤ
But relying on one single issuer or one collateral model creates risk.
ㅤ
Reserve is trying to build a more flexible framework where different stablecoins can be backed by different asset baskets.
ㅤ
-> What makes it different
ㅤ
Reserve is not focused on only one stablecoin.
ㅤ
Its protocol is designed to let multiple RTokens exist with different collateral structures and governance models.
ㅤ
That makes $RSR more of an infrastructure bet on the stablecoin sector itself.
ㅤ
-> Bull case
ㅤ
If stablecoins keep expanding into payments, savings, and tokenized assets, demand for flexible collateralized stablecoin infrastructure could grow with them.
ㅤ
That gives $RSR exposure to both stablecoins and the broader RWA narrative.
ㅤ
-> Bear case
ㅤ
Adoption + collateral risk.
ㅤ
RTokens need strong collateral, reliable liquidity, and real users.
ㅤ
Reserve also needs the growth of its ecosystem to translate into meaningful long-term demand for RSR.
ㅤ
-> What to watch
ㅤ
RToken growth.
Stablecoin supply.
Collateral quality.
DeFi integrations.
Governance activity.
Protocol adoption.
RSR token utility.
ㅤ
My view:
ㅤ
Narrative: 9/10
Utility: 8/10
Adoption: 7/10
Risk: Medium-High
Upside: High
ㅤ
Stablecoins.
Collateral.
RWA.
ㅤ
$RSR is basically a picks-and-shovels bet on a future where many different asset-backed stablecoins exist instead of just a few dominant ones.
ㅤ
If stablecoin infrastructure keeps expanding, Reserve Rights is one of the smaller names worth keeping on the radar.
ㅤ
Save this for your stablecoin / RWA watchlist.

Every $RSR unlock now comes with a burn 🔥
This plan comes directly from the community: @AmatorPatriae proposed tying unlocking to burning, which became the design of the final Burn Gauge: no schedule, no calendar... nothing released unless the protocol has burned RSR first. If the protocol burns nothing, nothing unlocks.
RSR holders choose the ratio, with five positions on the gauge:
→ High burn: for every 1 RSR the protocol burns, 4 more are burned from the treasury. No unlocking.
→ Low burn: for every 1 RSR the protocol burns, 2 more are burned from the treasury. No unlocking.
→ Sustain: for every 2 RSR the protocol burns, 1 is unlocked from the treasury.
→ Low growth: for every 1 RSR the protocol burns, 2 are unlocked from the treasury.
→ High growth: for every 1 RSR the protocol burns, 4 are unlocked from the treasury.
At the two burn settings the treasury shrinks and nothing is released. At the three growth settings, Confusion Capital can release more than the burn-driven amount, but treasury RSR is burned in exchange at that position’s ratio.
An unofficial burn gauge simulator is available here: claude.ai/artifact/5UAT2smqK…
@nnevvinn, Confusion Capital, ABC Labs, Best Friend Finance and every company Confusion Capital incubates sit these votes out; they won’t vote with the RSR they hold. The gauge is set by the RSR holder base.
The community will vote on it every quarter by ranked choice, following the quarterly update call and report, so you can see where the business stands before choosing a setting.
The first gauge vote is open now and runs seven days ↓

$RSR is very close to a key resistance level.
The long-standing bearish trend is nearing its end.
A breakout above $0.00163 would signal the start of a bullish trend.
$RSR is approaching a key resistance level.
The anchor band is at $0.001627.
Breaking above this level would end the long-term downtrend and signal a shift to a bullish trend.

Update on the $RSR unlocking vote: it’s moving out by one week
The original NARR milestone system is no longer the only option; the community has put forward a burn-based proposal as well as gauge variants of it
Instead of moving forward w/the original vote, we’ll bring all proposals to the same level of detail so they can be judged side-by-side
Catch up on the posts and comments on the Reserve forum:

> [RFC] Proposal to Tie RSR Emissions to RSR Burns Instead of the Milestone Approach forum.reserve.org/t/rfc-prop…
On yesterday’s Q2 Community Call, @nnevvinn shared a revised framework for the $RSR unlocking milestone plan
The full proposal is now on the forum, in advance of a @SnapshotLabs vote to begin Aug. 27

Welcome to episode 1 of Buying into the Singularity, a new podcast in which @nnevvinn explores the AI boom from two angles:
1) how to invest and own your share of the AI buildout, and
2) where AI may really take us in the long term
The AI Boom Is Actually an Industrial Revolution — Samo Burja #001

Our future hinges on whether recursive self improvement will take us from cool coding agents to literal superintelligence.
The guys who wrote AI 2027 are extremely bullish on the tech, but very worried about where it leads us. Permanent totalitarian regime? Autonomous AIs taking control?
I sat down with @thlarsen and @romeovdean to learn what they think is required to reach techno utopia. There’s a lot in their proposal worth discussing.
Historically the AI safety community pushed for secrecy around AI research. The thinking went: the more insights are shared, the faster it will go, and we need more time for alignment research, so publishing and open source are bad.
But the AI Futures Project now recommends the opposite! They want to mandate open-sourcing the research and literal code used for training runs and inference (though not model weights), so the whole world can see what’s going on inside the labs and weigh in on it as we progress.
They think this would lead to frontier labs popping up all over the world, competing openly and sharing insights along the way. Almost a hybrid of academic and commercial development models.
As labs explore new approaches, anything that looks really risky would be debated openly and, potentially, banned for a period of time while control and alignment methods catch up.
Worldwide bans would be feasible by way of a multi-lateral treaty initially formed by the US and China. Global rules would trickle down to state/national regulations.
Compute would continue its massive scaling, with a catch: new datacenters would be equipped with chip destruction/disabling machinery and strategically located so that if the treaty broke down, each country would have power and incentive to destroy/disable their chips (rather than let their adversaries seize them), bringing us back to pre-2030 levels of compute. Mutually assured compute destruction (MACD), they call it.
Even with these controls, they think we’ll still have something like 4x growth in robots year over year leading the robot population to quickly eclipse humans and take over most jobs. They have an elegant idea for handling all the job loss: auction off a fixed annual supply of permits to robot makers and use the revenue to fund “citizen’s dividend” checks. Their econ model says we could pay people $1M/year for doing nothing by the mid 2030s. They forecast doublings of GDP for many years and extreme gains across most markets, as well as for land, one of the main remaining scarce resources in a scenario of abundance.
To a normie this all sounds completely nuts. To the truly AI pilled, it’s worth taking seriously.
Which are you?
Last week Xi Jinping formed the World AI Cooperation Organisation and said we need to avoid “loss of control” over AI.
This morning 1,224 employees of frontier US AI companies put out a statement saying: "We request that the U.S. government support an international effort to develop the technical and governance tools needed to deliberately pace the frontier of automated AI development."
But what would that actually look like?
According to the people who wrote AI 2027, it would mean: a US<>China deal in which every frontier lab’s research is continually open sourced for the world to examine, regulation developed along the way in response to new capabilities that look dangerous, and every new US or Chinese datacenter rigged to self-disable if the deal breaks down.
Theirs may be the most developed vision for international coordination on AI to date.
Even with treaties and regulations to slow things down, they forecast GDP doubling year over year, billions of AIs and robots taking most jobs, a cap-and-trade robot permit plan paying out $1M “citizen’s dividend” checks by 2035, and full superintelligence by 2040.
When I asked @thlarsen and @romeovdean to forecast growth of AI stocks their chart was parabolic. They also think land (which robots can’t make more of) will skyrocket in value.
If they’re right about the effects of recursive self improvement… we are in for an extremely wild ride 🥵😳

An ex-Fed senior trader described Reserve as something that neither commercial banks nor central banks can do alone:
“What I really like about the Reserve Protocol is that it kind of combines the aspects of both banking and central banking.
You can issue money against assets, like a commercial bank. But unlike a commercial bank, it’s not redeemable for higher forms of money. So there’s no run like you could have in a traditional bank system.”
🗣️ Joseph Wang at Monetarium 1:
“The way that commercial banks handle asset volatility is that they just kind of don’t let you see what happens. Some assets don’t have to be marked to market. And of course, there’s only periodic disclosures. So in a sense, you are asked to close your eyes and just trust the banks. But then I guess if you have a protocol, that could be managed better.”
“One thing that the commercial banks do well that I think would be worth thinking about going forward is the allocation of money.
Reserve has a really good way of issuing asset-backed money. And that’s super important. But at the end of the day, it’s also about how money is allocated.
What if someone doesn’t have assets and they would like to have money? Well, you can go to a commercial bank and they can create that money for you - such that people who don’t have assets can still be able to invest, go to school, get a loan, and so forth.
Basically, the bank makes a judgment as to whether or not the borrower is worthy of having money, whether or not they repay the loan, whether or not the project is worthwhile.
So being able to create money is one thing.
I think that to be able to have a successful monetary system, it's also important to be able to have it allocated in a way. And that could still be done, I suppose, by lending - issuing tokens and then lending them.
But then when you do that, you are also reintroducing many of the conventional risks that we see in the banking system like credit and liquidity.”
“I would emphasize that being able to create money is super important. But having it allocated well is what makes money effective in creating an economy that has good growth but also more equality. It's really hard to know whether or not money will be allocated well.
Are you going to be giving it to someone who is going to spend it wisely? So it's a lot of work for the commercial banks to do a very qualitative judgment to say, is this person credit worthy? Is this project viable?
If you have a monetary system, in addition to having the base layer there, having an idea of how it could be better distributed to be able to benefit everyone, even people who don't have assets to get tokens, I think is really important for its adoption.”

BREAKING: The SEC is set to release its so-called "innovation exemption" for tokenized stocks which will pave the path for trading digital versions of securities, per Bloomberg.
Details include:
1. In a "surprise move," the SEC is leaning toward allowing the trading of tokenized assets
2. These tokenized assets would be tradeable on decentralized crypto platforms
3. The move could "reshape the landscape of the American stock market"
4. This would also be one of the US' biggest shifts into crypto infrastructure yet
Tokenized assets are rapidly expanding.
