I'm not dismissing or praising this technology with this post. I'm sharing (with you) what I think is about to unfold.
What's happening below in 1 shot (including UI and animation!) to me marks Roblox's next "era". Like Jailbreak, PetSim, etc. were for previous generations of kids.
Yeah, this example is a rip of YuGiOh. But that was the prompt. Look at the quality here. I'm not sure I could make this myself and a machine did all of it in 5 hours. The "slop" has turned into mashed potatoes with a side of green beans.
What we play is really all about to change...
Roblox is great but I think everyone needs a reality check.
If Roblox is still a side gig, meaning it’s not making enough money to sustain you and put you in a position where you don’t need to work on other stuff, treat it as a side gig until it’s not.
Prioritize your education
As a person who partly works in acquisitions, I see lots of people sell to companies too early, then complain that they sold before the game blew up.
Always make sure you retain some % when you sell a % of your game - while you’re at it, let the people buying % handling LiveOps!
I always see a lot of people think they’ve made it or performed a great achievement by being around people who are 100x+ what they are.
That needs to change.
We need to base our achievements on the achievements WE as individuals perform, not by simply having “OP connections”.
And I’m the first one to say this about myself - I fall prey to this a lot.
AI is great.
It will replace people who deserve to be replaced - people who don’t put in proper work, aren’t competent, and always go over deadlines.
It won’t replace people who are the opposite - people who are competent; it’ll be a tool to help people be extremely efficient.

I am so tired of this... Roblox moderation could not be worse. I am uploading UGC accessories that are very similar to each other, but with clearly distinct meshes and textures and Roblox thing I am "Publishing Spam".
All of this probably because of a terrible ai system that cannot detect whether two items are actually identical or not. I am so mad
