Final: Reading 8, NDA 7
A stunner in Watertown. No. 4 Reading ends No. 1 Notre Dame Academy’s 18 game playoff winning streak, which dated back to 2021. Reading hung on for the victory despite not scoring in the 4th, moving on to play in the Div. State final. @sports_ledger
Reading led 8-3 halfway through the third but NDA battled back in the last 5 minutes of play, scoring 3 unanswered.
Here in Kingston with @BrocktonSports and @sports_ledger for a MIAA Div. 2 softball quarterfinal as top-seed @SLakeathletics hosts No. 9 @MiddleboroAD for a spot in the state semifinals. First pitch is just moments away. Live updates to follow throughout the afternoon.
