He says no answer today regarding potential re-trial.
Judge has officially declared a mistrial in the Lindsay Clancy case.
When Judge said it, one of the jurors became visibly emotional. Put hands over face and leaned forward with a big exhale. At one point appeared to be holding back tears.
🚨Judge in Lindsay Clancy case has NOT officially declared a mistrial.
Defense attorney Kevin Reddington has ONE hour to file an emergency appeal for a stay of mistrial declaration.
UPDATE: we’re back in the courtroom in Lindsay Clancy case. Jury has not entered yet. Courtroom is packed to capacity. Some members of public couldn’t get in.
After sidebar, Reddington addressed court saying “there’s one juror that refuses to listen to the law” regarding definition of reasonable doubt.
Reddington wants the juror removed. Sullivan doesn’t agree.
Court is in recess as jurors continue deliberation.

After again insisting they were deadlocked this afternoon, the judge read jurors something called the “dynamite charge” - essentially a final insistence to try and reach a verdict - before sending them back once more to deliberate. #LindsayClancy
