Loki was never a fan of thunderstorms or rain, and who could blame him? He was left to face a severe storm and tornado warning over night in a cardboard box before I rescued him. It’s raining now, and as I listen to the rain, I can’t help but think of how he’d start to shake and hyperventilate and couldn’t get close enough to me. My Lugnut was always a cuddle bug, but during storms, he took it to another level. With the cold weather coming, I know I’ll miss those cuddle nights. 💙🐾
Football season’s here, and our Broncos are finally doing pretty well. I can almost see him curled up beside me, watching the game like he always did. I know he’s up in heaven now, sitting beside his great‑granny, my mother who adored him as much as he adored her, looking down on us and cheering for the Broncos with that same sweet smile and big heart that made every moment with him unforgettable.💙🐾

Loki had always had a crush on a cute little Pittie, Bindie Sue. Bindie’s mama and I would share pictures of them back and forth, and every time Loki heard Bindie Sue’s name, he would get excited. I remember sometimes he would be laying down, and we would ask him what his Bindie Sue was doing. He would raise his head up real quick, look at you, and perk his ears as he looked around for her. A cool feature about them was their markings, which were like yin and yang. Loki’s brown was on his right and Bindie Sue’s on the left, so when they sat next to each other, it looked like a heart in the center.
Loki was officially married to Bindie Sue on July 10, 2017, and they were the cutest couple ever. We had a big Facebook wedding, and they received gifts from all over the world, literally. You could always tell how much they adored each other just by their actions, how they reacted when they saw pictures of each other or when they heard each other’s names mentioned. They were truly a match made in doggy heaven, and anyone who knew them couldn’t help but smile.
