Today, I was appointed to serve as Chair of the @TXGOPCaucus Subcommittee on Parliamentary Process. The committee includes Representatives Bell, Cain, Gates, Hayes, Patterson, Schofield, Smithee, and Tinderholt. The committee is tasked with recommending changes to the House rules and parliamentary practices for consideration by the 89th caucus.
I look forward to working with all of my fellow Republican members and nominees to identify and recommend reforms to the House rules and parliamentary practices that will empower members, cut back on ticky-tack points of order, and help ensure good public policy, like our Republican legislative priorities, is advanced.

If you live in Harris County there is a RUN- OFF Election TODAY!
The public passed Proposition 4 by 83% in November 2023, which had this critical property tax reform in it, and it's up to the public to make an informed vote today, Saturday, June 15th.
I am voting for Kyle Scott & Ericka McCrutcheon for Harris Co Appraisal Board.

๐จIn a Political โRipleyโs Believe It or Notโ, LOL, the Harris County Democratic Party created a poll push card in the HCAD election that said "Republican Extremists" candidates in the Saturday election for the Harris County Appraisal District runoff will do four unbelievable things:
1) Defund our public schools, 2) expand tax breaks for the wealthy, 3)increase taxes for the working class, and 4) cut county services..!
This leaves โpolitical hyperboleโ in the rearview mirror! Texas Schools are funded by average daily attendance, there is no CAD "means testing" that could favor the wealthy, the working class is benefited by ISD, City, County Homestead exemptions, and HCAD can't cut county services only Commissioners Court can! Wow, that's 4 strikeouts, and the @harrisdemocrats chair should be "ejected" from the game! Imagine what the media landslide would be if the @HarrisCountyRP chair made claims as wild as these 4!
The public passed Proposition 4 by 83% in November 2023, which had this critical property tax reform in it, and it's up to the public to make an informed vote on Saturday, June 15th; however, going well beyond political hyperbole isn't the way to do it!

We had quite a big turnout of nearly five hundred grassroots Republicans for the two SD 7 conventions, including me arriving just in time from Magnolia Church of Christ to Glorious Way Church to "Photo Bomb" Lt. Gov @DanPatrick and Harris County SD 7 Chair @BuntrockJames, LOL. With @realDonaldTrump riding high in the battleground state polls, the mood was one of optimism for winning the White House all the way back to taking back more races at the County courthouse in the Nation's 3rd largest county!
Talked with MoCo SD 7 Chair Dennis Tibbs and the delegates about the importance of November turnout in Montgomery County in winning Texas, plus @tedcruz's Senate race, and asked @CollinsforTX how I did do @TPPF explaining the strong Senate bill that got rid of DEI Socialism in Texas Universities!
Back in Harris County, I spoke with two great State Reps. @RepSchofield and @ValoreeforTexas, plus @TomSRamsey2, and @AlexMealerTX, et al, about how @HarrisCountyRP Republicans outpolled Harris County Democrats in their 1st ever joint primary! (Congrats chair @cindySiegel5)
Ended with, I'll keep fighting against #UBI, #CRT, #DEI, #ESG, or any other three-letter Leftist Progressive public policy anagram the National Democrats can come up with in 2024! On to @TexasGOP...
Republicans out vote Democrats in a Harris County joint primary by 19% in the Nation's 3rd largest "Blue" County! 201k to 169k!
152k Rโs for @realDonaldTrump outnumber Dโs for @Biden at 150k, and thatโs apples to apples! @HarrisCountyRP voters clearly made difference in re-electing @SupremeCourt_TX Justice John Devine, plus voters reflected deep dissatisfaction with the CCA ruling to strip voter fraud investigations from @KenPaxtonTXโs Attorney General's Office.
Re-electing State Representatives @ManoForStateRep, @LaceyHullTx, and @BriscoeCain showed tremendous satisfaction with the passage of SB2's historic property tax cuts as everyone could point to real cuts in lowering ISD property tax bills, especially for Over-65 Seniors!
Finally, electing former COH council member @MikeKnoxTX as Sheriffs candidate finishes strong law and order ticket. Another proven GOP winner, Party Chair @cindySiegel5, won to help lead the Republican ticket to more November county-wide victories against ever more Leftist Progressive Democrats in the State of Texasโs largest county!

ETJ Deannexation reality reset! Taxpayers in @georgetowntx, @CityofLeander, & statewide should be happy that anti-property rights attempts to stop implementation of my SB 2038 in both cities was wisely stopped yesterday after release of this letter to provisional Attorney General Colmenero! Basically, the attempts to create "faux" industrial districts to overlay old ETJ lines wouldn't have worked and was a vain attempt to stop a bill passed by the legislature.
My House Sponsors @CBellJr and @RepSchofield and I passed this important bill to allow property owners the chance to remove themselves from a Never ending ETJ stituation, and now they'll get their chance to do so by the new law. #txlege
