Americans should have total ownership over their vehicle data.
Idahoans should always be able to determine what happens to the data their vehicle generates—including GPS location, routes, and driving habits.
That’s why I have co-sponsored H.R. 6734, the Auto Data Privacy and Autonomy Act.
This bill protects consumers’ sensitive vehicle data from being accessed by third parties unless the vehicle owner has authorized it, and it allows consumers to control whether they want their operator data stored or deleted.

The American West never misses.
In 1805, the Lewis and Clark Expedition crossed the Continental Divide at Lemhi Pass in Idaho, a landscape and travel route known to indigenous people for generations.
Today, the landscape is part of the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail, and sunsets still put on one heck of a show.
