I voted to ensure there are clear, enforceable rules that prevent data centers from claiming public utility privileges. These companies are for‑profit enterprises, and economic development should never come at the expense of the public’s rights or resources.
The #PAHouse recognized October 9, 2026, as Ageism Awareness Day, drawing attention to a widespread form of prejudice that can impact the health and wellbeing of older adults. It's important to ensure that ALL older adults are treated with respect & as valued members of society.
I am honored to receive LeadingAge PA's 2025-26 Legislative Champion Award. Aging is generational and each of us experiences it differently. That’s why it's important for older adults to have access to the resources they need to live with dignity, independence and purpose.
I’m proud to continue advocating for policies that help older Pennsylvanians live their best lives.

The #PAHouse recognized September 2026 as Living Independence for the Elderly (LIFE) Month. The LIFE program is a valuable resource to help seniors remain in their homes while receiving the care and resources they need to age with dignity. youtube.com/watch?v=g3LgSY61…
I've been a strong supporter of the @poconofamilyymca for many years and was honored to participate in a groundbreaking ceremony this week to highlight just how this $21 million expansion and renovation project will benefit our community for years to come.
As large-scale data centers threaten to disrupt sensitive ecosystems here in the Poconos, I will continue fighting to put our environment FIRST. I recently visited the Barton Family property to tour some of the pristine land and waterways our community is standing up to protect.
Check out the latest episode of Monroe Matters! We'll discuss important investments in this year's #PABudget, showcase my annual Women's Expo, & highlight the importance of preserving the pristine woodlands of Monroe County from data center development. youtu.be/_jV4Uc22ELQ
Seriously? The House was complying with the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s ruling. So who, exactly, is playing politics now?
PA House Democrats are playing a dangerous game with public safety in allowing today's deadline to expire without a vote on the language in SB1400. I thank each member of the @PAHouseGOP for being united in their support of victims and public safety by voting against yesterday’s short-sighted and anti-victim legislation.
When I came to the House a decade ago, Pennsylvania's response to survivors of sexual violence was in desperate need of attention. Thousands of untested rape kits sat on shelves, and rape crisis centers were providing lifesaving services while struggling with limited funding. (1)
Arthur Ashe 1975 Wimbledon Champion. ❤️🎾
51 years ago today, on July 5, 1975, Arthur Ashe became the first Black man to win a #Wimbledon singles title.
I won the Wimbledon women's singles title the same year, and we shared a dance together at the ball.

Juneteenth isn't just a day on the calendar. It's a promise and a commitment to make equality a reality for ALL. Our offices will be closed on Friday, June 19 in observation of the Juneteenth holiday.
A walk around the Capitol with my friend @RepMaryJoDaley and #PAHouse colleagues to raise money for Hunger Free PA and Feeding PA was a perfect way to start the day.
