Great being on the PA House floor! I felt vindicated after an “arrest warrant” issued 6 days from an election was proven bogus. Serious legal & criminal issues do remain for Philly’s DAs Office & others. Winning elections can never legitimize falsely imprisoning your opponent!

Preserving mental health screenings are covered by insurance policies of Pennsylvanians is key. That’s why I’m pleased the PA House passed my bill to make this coverage state law. This is necessary after a federal judge struck down portions of the Affordable Care Act.
Every Pennsylvanian deserves basic healthcare without financial barriers. We passed a bill that requires health insurers to cover preventive services, including cancer screening and mental health treatment, without copays or deductibles. @RepKevinBoyle
Demographics are often destiny. Irish nationalists surpassing British unionists in the N Ireland election is a permanent trend. Those under 18 are 3 to 2 Irish/Catholic while 85+ are 2 to 1 British/Protestant. Inevitably after proper preparation a border poll will have to occur.

Unfortunate Northern Ireland pro British Unionism has become increasingly anti American. It’s important to keep in mind British unionism in N Ireland is a minority political view anymore (just about 40% of the vote in the six counties.)
One of Obamacare’s greatest feats has been mandated coverage for mental health & other preventative care. Unfortunately a federal court in Texas has deemed this unconstitutional. As this plays out legally I am now introducing a bill to keep this coverage as law in Pennsylvania.

Historic day in Pennsylvania! For the first time in 4428 days in my 12+ year career as a Pennsylvania House member Democrats are the majority party.
Victims of childhood sexual abuse have yet again been let down by the Pennsylvania House. Governor Wolf had called the House into emergency session this week to finally give victims justice. Instead we now learn House session days have been cancelled for the rest of the week.
Today I was sworn in for a 7th term representing NE Philadelphia in the Pennsylvania House. It’s a true honor and responsibility to represent 65,000 people in Harrisburg.
Proud to present $130,000 in funding to 2 NE Philadelphia social service organizations with my colleagues @senjimmydillon @RepNeilson . The Center for Families & Relationships and Jewish Family & Children Services will use to continue helping the community.
