On the third Friday of September, we observe National POW/MIA Recognition Day. Today, we honor those who were prisoners of war (POWs), and those who are still missing in action (MIA). May their service and sacrifice not be forgotten.

Today marks the anniversary of the official certification of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, giving women the right to vote.
I’m grateful to the courageous suffragists who fought tirelessly to secure this fundamental right for future generations. They truly were trailblazers.
