I want to thank everyone who attended last week's Concealed Carry Seminar. We had an outstanding turnout! I especially want to thank Sheriff Genesis Arias and District Attorney Sam Sanguedolce for sharing their expertise.

My staff and I want to wish Zachary Bufano all the best as he returns to Penn State University to complete his degree in political science. Zachary did an internship in our office this summer and was a great help. We can't wait to see what the future holds for him!

Democrats have chosen to dodge a vote on the Save Women's Sports Act once again by re-referring it back to the House Judiciary Committee. It is amazing to me the amount of time and energy spent on avoiding a vote on a bill that the overwhelming majority of Pennsylvanians support.

Today, I introduced House Bill 2533. Crafted with Sen. Jarrett Coleman, our companion bills will empower local municipalities to enact a moratorium on all data center projects, giving them the ability to enact ordinances without fear of litigation.

I had a great time yesterday talking with fourth grade students at Lake-Noxen Elementary School. I told them about my job as a state representative and explained how a bill becomes a law. The kids were enthusiastic and had some great questions for me!

I introduced House Bill 2272 to exempt Luzerne County from the enhanced vehicle emission inspection and maintenance program. It has become antiquated over time with more fuel-efficient vehicles, so it's unnecessary to subject residents to the added costs of the program.
