I was fortunate to have my family with me as I was sworn-in to represent the 105th District in the #PaHouse this week! My top priorities are paid sick leave, education, protecting fundamental rights, increasing the minimum wage and expanding access to life-saving medication.

Salt is permanently changing the chemistry of our freshwater streams. We must reduce the amount of salt used on our roads during winter weather. I'm confident we can work with PennDOT to keep our roads safe without putting the environment and wildlife at such a risk.

I had a great morning joining the leadership from the Panther Ram Foundation, CD School District, @LowerPaxtonTwp, and others as the CDSD NutriPacks Program finds a new space! The program provides meals and snacks for more than 1,200 kids in the district. Thanks for your work!

Although my children are well beyond the diaper stage, I truly get how vital diapers are and nonprofits like this one are going above and beyond in ensuring families are supported with all their diaper needs!

I was honored to join my colleagues for the historic #PAHouse session at Congress Hall in Philadelphia. This ceremonial session celebrated the country’s 250th anniversary and highlighted the progress we’ve made since!

Happy Labor Day! Unions and their members are the reason why current workers enjoy so many employee benefits. Past generations fought and died for safe workplaces, the 40-hour work week, pensions, and more. Take time to thank a union member today. #laborday @PaHouseDems

I started my career in state government as an intern for former State Representative Mark McNaughton! Internships are a great way to learn and grow professionally, so I’m wishing those in the @PAAuditorGen office and all current interns a happy National Intern Day!

I'm keeping the America 250 celebrations going by participating in Speaker @repmcclinton's #250ActsofService challenge! Serving others is such an important part of our country's legacy, and I want to encourage everyone to find ways, big or small, to give back.

I joined members of the PA Fish and Boat Commission for a trout spawning demonstration and tour of the Huntsdale State Fish Hatchery. This was an informational and hands-on experience. We helped extract eggs from the female trout and fertilized them with the male trout.

I offer my deepest condolences to Chief Murphy’s family, friends, and the Penbrook community who are enduring this devastating loss. Chief Murphy's work ethic and dedication to the Citizen’s Fire Company of Penbrook was always evident. His memory will stay with us forever.
