It was truly an honor to present 99-year-old Sam Guarnieri with the AMVET of the year award and John Pliska with the Silver Bayonet award. I've known both of them for many years and greatly appreciate their service to our country and our community. Congratulations!

Did you know that 1 in 3 older adults dies with Alzheimer's or another dementia? It kills more than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined. alz.org/

Sundown marks the beginning of Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement and holiest day of the year for our Jewish neighbors. I wish everyone who celebrates a healthy and happy holiday of fellowship.

If data centers want to come to PA, then everyone deserves to know how they’re going to impact their community. I believe there should be no making deals behind closed doors and NO NDAs!

There's a lot of misinformation about the EITC program in PA, so let’s set the record straight - there are no cuts to the program. We tried to increase funding and transparency to the program but the #PASenate shot it down, so the EITC program remains the same as last year.

The House passed a budget bill in April, but instead of the Senate sending us their revisions, they chose to leave the Capitol without any action. I’m hopeful that we can all be back after the Independence Day weekend and find agreement on a plan that supports everyone.

I believe customers deserve reliable, affordable service, not another significant rate hike that threatens their financial stability. Today, I respectfully urged the PA PUC to reject the proposed rate increase sought by UGI Electric. pahouse.com/Haddock/InTheNew…

It's unfair for AI data centers to evade state sales taxes on their equipment while offering massive incentives to get local zoning approval. If they can offer significant incentives, they should be able to pay sales tax and property taxes.

2024 & 2025 were the two hottest years on record in PA. Nationwide, around 45 people die from heat-related complications at their places of employment. PA has laws to protect dogs & cats from excessive heat, let's make 2026 the year we pass a law protecting working Pennsylvanians

I was proud to stand with the students from Old Forge School District who know all too well the broken playoff systems in place. The #PASenate must move our bipartisan bill forward & let the PIAA consider making much needed changes for student athletes. youtube.com/watch?v=8NciHaRr…

With rising operational & equipment costs, fire companies are struggling to deliver the services our communities depend on. My bill creating a $30 million grant program passed the #PAHouse. Contact your state Senator and urge them to get this vital funding over the finish line!
