Jack Smith knew Members of Congress are protected by the Constitution’s Speech or Debate Clause.
Smith's own team even concluded that the subpoenas for Members of Congress's phone records might be unconstitutional.

Similar to Europe's DSA legislation, South Korea is threatening American social media companies with massive fines and penalties if they don't comply with removing free speech its government disagrees with.
