There is a lot of misunderstanding about elections and how important it is to know how government works. I hear all the time from many people how government is doing something wrong. Unfortunately most of the time it is from not my form of government. Many voters vote with emotion without realizing local and state government is taking the wrong blame. Please inform yourselves on how each branch of government works and the difference between local, state and federal government.

It is time! With ballots being mailed out, it is critical to have everyone vote! Let’s get informed and vote.

What an incredible day showing off HD48 on the Colorado Competitive Council (C3) Basecamp tour. We started at Colorado Cow Dairy Farm for an up-close look at Colorado agriculture and the people behind it. Lunch was at Ben’s Brick Oven Pizza in Hudson, where we heard from Colorado’s own Brian Shaw, 4 time World’s Strongest Man Champion. Next, Colorado Farm Adventures, where we saw agricultural innovation in action, including an AI-powered laser weed killer made by Carbon Robotics. We closed the day outside Platteville with a narrated oil and gas bus tour, led by yours truly. Agriculture. Small business. Innovation. Energy. And a little Colorado strength. Grateful to everyone who joined us and opened their doors. HD48 is a special part of Colorado, and it was a privilege to share it. #CarlosHD48

Colorado! Going out to vote is so critical this year as well as all years. We will have 15 state wide ballot initiatives that will codify amendments to our state constitution. Here are my recommendations for those ballot initiatives. Please be on the look out for the blue book you all receive in the mail that better explains the pro’s and cons of these initiatives.
