Great to have @RepAMF at our #affordablehousing event in Gloucester. Rep. Ferrante is a committed advocate for housing, eco dev, and Cape Ann. She was a valued member of our #MAEconDev Planning Council, and the House EcoDev chair when #HousingChoice passed in the EDBB last year.
Congrats to Cape Ann @YMCA on being awarded an affordable rental housing grant from @MA_DHCD! This award will help create 44 senior housing units on Middle Street. Glad to join @MassEOHED Sec. Kennealy, Undersec. Maddox, @SenBruceTarr, and Mayor Verga for the announcement.

Eliminating the film tax credit sunset will provide the certainty needed for the industry to take root in MA. Producers are looking to make long-term commitments, and the existing sunset language is preventing MA from becoming truly competitive and creating more job opportunities
With a state commission concluding the film tax credit is not the best use of the state’s money, backers of the tax break say they have the votes on Beacon Hill to make it permanent. commonwealthmagazine.org/art…
