Will I have to fill up more often when using E15? Not really. The data shows a typical household using E15 may only need one additional fill-up per year — if that. Get the full outlook on E15 fuel economy here: ethanolrfa.org/file/3122/E15…

Time to do some #E15 myth-busting! E15 has LOWER volatility/RVP than regular gas (E10) and LOWER (not higher) smog-forming potential in the summer. The problem: E15 is normally held to a more restrictive volatility standard than E10 in summer months. Year-round E15 legislation simply creates a permanent level playing field for both fuels.

Last week, the House passed year-round E15 legislation, a big win for Kansas farmers and consumers. It lets the free market work by giving Americans another fuel choice at the pump while supporting domestic energy production and strengthening markets for our producers.

The House just passed year-round E15 in the House. This means more choices at the pump for Americans, stronger markets for Kansas agriculture, and more certainty for our energy producers. This is a major win for American consumers and agricultural producers.

Why support year-round E15? Answer should be obvious. Lower costs, lower emissions, more energy security, stronger farms. Link: ethanolrfa.org/file/3114/Mor…

Kansas farmers help fuel the world, and year-round E15 is a vital part of that future. Permanent access to E15 provides certainty for producers, supports domestic energy, and gives Americans more affordable options at the pump. This is commonsense policy that is good for Kansas and the entire country.
