"I...I," he pauses to gather his words, "I don't know. I'll have to talk to her about it."

He has a sudden face of confusion and shock. "What?"

"I missed you."

"I hope you like her."

"You're not mad?"

He instantly relaxes in his mother's embrace.

He stares at his feet. He wants to let his defensive wall but doesn't.

"I not getting a divorce. I love Skye. Her family likes me."

"I didn't ask for a role."

"You were going to make me."

"I shouldn't have to marry someone I don't know."

He leans against the railing to listen to what she has to say.
