I’m temporarily back on Twitter to retweet pro-democracy and pro–rule of law content, helping to elevate it amid an onslaught of Trump’s totalitarian disinformation and misinformation. I’m not here to support Elon Musk in any way—other than, unavoidably, feeding his algorithms.

When Ukraine destroys Russian data centers, hoards of aggressive right-wing bots disappear, and Twitter becomes much friendlier. Isn’t that interesting? So much of our politics is driven by the internet, and so much of the internet is driven by Russians who want to hurt us. Shouldn’t we do something about that, given that we know it?

It is sickening that the USA is now lifting sanctions on Russian fuel, and transparently ridiculous to blame Ukraine for the spike in prices that obviously began with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Putin is murdering innocent Ukrainian civilians every day. The Ukrainians are fighting for their lives. And yet the White House is apparently determined to force American drivers to bankroll Putin’s slaughter. It won’t work and I doubt it will make much difference to the price of fuel.
If we want Russian oil and gas back on the world market then let’s end this war - with a free, sovereign and independent Ukraine.

When we started responding to Russia’s operation against our data centers, and when our strikes reached Yandex’s data centers, it suddenly became a little easier to breathe on many social media platforms. A lot of people noticed it. There was less hate, less division, and fewer provocations.
Because there were fewer bots. And it’s pretty clear where those bots were coming from – if they disappeared when Yandex went offline. This proves, again and again, that Europe is not the source of the problems. Europe is not the one making everything more difficult.
Most importantly, we need people in America, every morning, when the day in Europe is already moving toward evening, to really see what is happening. To see the truth.

"The amount of fuel Russia could export is too small, the impact on pricing too slight, the narrative too late to shape electoral outcomes: This looks, instead, like something very different: an abrupt, Hail Mary attempt to force Ukraine to surrender"

This is so insanely corrupt, I can’t even believe it.
More than half the donors to Trump’s $400 million White House ballroom just won over $50 billion in new federal contracts in six months.
And here’s the part that should make your blood boil.
Sixteen of these 27 donors were facing federal enforcement actions, antitrust reviews, labor cases, securities charges. Many of those cases have been quietly dropped or scaled back since Trump took office. You write a check, your legal problems disappear. That’s not a coincidence.
The White House won’t even release the full donor list. They’re hiding it on purpose, because daylight is the one thing pay-to-play can’t survive. A federal judge already ruled ballroom construction has to stop until Congress authorizes it.
Government is supposed to serve the people, not auction itself off to the highest bidder. When access goes to whoever pays the most, working families always end up paying the price.
We either end the corruption, or the corruption will end us.

Honoured to be speaking at @TEDxWasedaU — exploring what #Tokyo's dense, mixed-use neighbourhoods and their #machikoba micro-factories can teach us about balancing work and life, and building cities as incubators of tolerance and cooperation.

Bizarre. There are no more rules and we’re truly broken. The Vice President of the U.S. openly campaigning in Hungary for the most corrupt hand puppet of Putin. Extraordinary.

William Barr in 2024: I think [the Biden] administration is a disaster for the country
Q: Is [the Biden WH] worse than subverting the peaceful transfer of power?
Barr: Did [Trump] succeed?

Trump: "We're the only country in the world that has mail in ballots"
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Trumps claim that we're the only country that has Mail in ballots is a blatant lie.
Dozens of other countries have mail in ballots.

Pam Bondi, "There is no evidence that Donald Trump has committed a crime"
Ted Lieu, "You just lied under oath. There is ample evidence in the Epstein files"
Pam Bondi, "Don't you ever accuse me of a crime"
Ted Lieu, "You just lied under oath, and this is on video tape"
Ted Lieu then reads an extract from the Epstein files about a girl who says she was raped by Trump and Epstein and had her head blown off, with officer saying it couldn't have been a suicide

BREAKING: Multiple Epstein victims tell NBC News that Pam Bondi intentionally un-redacted their names and other victims' names as a way to threaten them into silence!
“I think we all realize now that [the DOJ] really wanted to silence us, and [they] thought that [they] could scare us by putting our names out there.”
“It had a list of victims, and one was redacted. That makes no sense. This is a list of victims. That is INTENTIONAL!”
This is an impeachable offense. Pam Bondi needs to be impeached immediately!

Today, the Trump administration repealed the endangerment finding: the ruling that served as the basis for limits on tailpipe emissions and power plant rules. Without it, we’ll be less safe, less healthy and less able to fight climate change — all so the fossil fuel industry can make even more money.

“In moments like these it’s really important for us to unite. We are allowed to voice our opinions on what’s going on. I think we need to lead with love and compassion.”
I’m so happy that so many Olympians are not hesitant to speak out for what they believe in even when they know the president could try to bully them.

Crockett: "I don't really know where we are in this country. Why are we even having this conversation? The United States is falling apart right now, partially because he's allowing for the killings of people in the middle of the street, but the other part of it is we have a 34 count convicted felon and there are people that are still shielding him from any type of accountability as it relates to a child sex trafficking ring. I don't understand why we are pretending like any of this is normal."
