Jetzt liegt ein Gipfelvorschlag auf dem Tisch: Putin, Trump und Xi Jinping am 18. und 19. November in Shenzhen, am Rand des APEC-Gipfels. Das Ziel ist laut Wall Street Journal ein Kriegsende zu Moskaus Bedingungen. Selenskyj säße nicht mit am Tisch. Den möchte Putin nicht dabei haben. Die Idee kam von Putin selbst, im Telefonat mit Trump am 9. Oktober. In demselben Gespräch wurde der Diesel-Deal vereinbart. Danach unterschrieb Trump einen Erlass, der wichtige Sanktionen gegen Moskau aussetzt. Kremlsprecher Peskow bestätigt, dass über das Treffen gesprochen wird.
