IN 2010, THE TOTAL VALUE OF COCOA EXPORTED BY NIGERIA
In 2010 WAS USD 882.81MILLION...
Nigeria earned approximately $882.81 million (USD) from the export of cocoa and cocoa products in 2010, according to data from the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC).
In the last year [ 2014, before the broom waving demons in APC grabbed and stole power in 2015, Nigeria's total cocoa exports were valued at approximately $666.45 million, under the "clueless" Jonathan
President Tinubu told the whole world gleefully , how he went to Daura to drag the bubonic plague Buhari out of retirement, formed APC , grabbed power and have now totally destroyed everything that held Nigeria today, while destroying over 197m Nigerians into abject poverty ...
You are so shameless and dumb to try to gaslight anyone and project cocoa export value of USD$142m in 2025 as evidence of your new paymasters reform...

NIGERIA CANNOT MAKE MEANINGFUL PROGRESS WITHOUT JUSTICE, INSTITUTIONAL REFORMS AND EQUALITY BEFORE THE LAW.
No nation can rise above the quality of its institutions of justice, and no society can achieve meaningful progress where the rule of law is sacrificed on the altar of political convenience, personal interests and selective justice. If Nigeria must experience genuine transformation, economic prosperity, political stability and sustainable development, we must urgently reform our institutions of justice and insist that those entrusted with governmental powers submit themselves to the supremacy of the Constitution and the laws of the land.
The rule of law must not be a weapon against political opponents while serving as a shield for political allies. Justice must not be available to the powerful and influential while the poor and vulnerable are abandoned to their fate. A law that punishes the weak but protects the powerful is not an instrument of justice; it is an instrument of oppression. We cannot continue to profess democracy while tolerating impunity, institutional compromises, disobedience to court orders and selective enforcement of our laws. The Constitution must remain supreme over every individual, institution and political interest, regardless of status or position.
Our courts must be truly independent, courageous and impartial. Our law enforcement agencies must serve the Constitution rather than the interests of those temporarily occupying political offices. Our institutions of accountability must be strengthened to function without fear, favour, affection or ill will. Those who govern Nigeria must understand that political power is a sacred public trust, not a licence to disregard the law or manipulate institutions of justice. No public office confers immunity from constitutional accountability beyond what the Constitution expressly provides.
We must also recognise that justice delayed, justice compromised, and justice selectively administered are grave threats to national development. Investors require certainty of law. Citizens require protection of their rights. Democracy requires credible institutions. National unity requires shared confidence that everyone will be treated equally under the law. Nigeria does not lack laws. What we urgently need is the political will, institutional courage and moral integrity to apply those laws faithfully and impartially.
We cannot build a great nation on the foundation of injustice, institutional weakness and governmental impunity. The Nigeria we desire will not emerge merely from political promises, beautiful speeches or endless constitutional declarations. It will emerge when justice becomes the common inheritance of every Nigerian, when institutions become stronger than individuals, and when those who make and enforce our laws are themselves the first to obey them. Until the law becomes supreme over political power, and justice is administered without discrimination, Nigeria's aspirations for genuine progress and meaningful development will remain seriously endangered. Justice must be for all, not for some. The law must rule, not those who temporarily hold power.

Tinubu inherited Nigeria, but what has he done with it? He inherited a poor country; he inherited weak institutions; he inherited poverty and insecurity. We don't blame him, but he's been in power for three and a half years. He is a failure.

Thank you @mike_igini
Nigerians need to look out for competence, capacity and character in leadership selection process.
Nigeria’s Economic Crisis Is Rooted In Leadership Recruitment Process – Igini
Nigeria cannot fix its economy without fixing its politics, as economic issues are embedded in the political process. The crisis lies in how leaders are recruited. Addressing this crisis could accelerate Nigeria’s journey to greatness at the speed of a rocket.

The Audacity of Imagination. During a long drive from Manchester with stops in Birmingham NDC Presidential candidate Peter Obi and I visited the recent brainstorming on his manifesto which focused on very audacious interventions and Goals to redeem Nigeria from crippling corruption that has pushed the misery index into red alert. We agreed that besides debilitating corruption and poor leadership hamstringing progress not having bold innovations and tenacity have been in the way of the promise of Nigeria. Declaring states of emergency in Education, Health Care, Food Security and Security as well as power, with special champions appointed to drive high performance as stretch goals. This will be anchored on consequences for not reaching those goals in set time becoming public management tools
. Frontal assault on corruption, especially with technology that will prevent Custom Duty and other revenues from flowing into private pockets, could bring in more than 30 trillion Naira a year without increasing taxes to make for a functioning primary healthcare system and the building of one World class hospital in each geopolitical zone within 30 months. A special Diaspora return initiative would enable transforming turn around of the sector.
Massive deployment of solar, and wind , in addition to emergency services of turbines on Badges floating down major rivers could quickly raise generated power to 40.000 megawatts through creative financing without borrowing as Egypt and others have done

Nigerians are not aware that a tax law has been passed, which requires everyone to pay 25% of their earnings as tax. The National Assembly has already passed this law, and it will swing into action after the election.

President Trump’s decision to waive sanctions against Russia as Putin continues his brutal war of aggression against Ukraine dishonors the legacy of the late Senator Lindsey Graham and is decidedly not in the national interests of the United States and should be reversed.
Putin is a war criminal and only understands strength. Waiving Graham Act sanctions on Russia signals weakness at a moment that demands American strength. Now is the time to stand strong against Russian aggression, just as we did during the years of the first Trump Administration.
A victory in Ukraine would be a victory for freedom and is squarely in the national interests of the United States. If Putin overruns Ukraine, I have no doubt it will only be a matter of time until Russia’s military crosses a border that our troops will have to deal with him.
For the cause of freedom, for America’s national security and that of our allies including Ukraine, President Trump should Restore sanctions under the Graham Act immediately, Rescind the diesel deal with Russia and Rally our Allies to ensure Ukraine has the military support it needs to repel and defeat this Russian invasion once and for all. Corruption Corruption Corruption. The greed and false consciousness of a few crippled the promise of Nigeria and continues to make elections not so credible. It manages to leave Nigeria poorly placed on the HDI, many children out of school, and child birth a deathbed for mothers. . Yet many who should be walking in shame from bringing misery to so many walk with a swag and seek re-election. And some youth who should be angry with them are active insulting those who speak truth for pittance or the emotion of ethnic solidarity. The Big Question is how and when will the revenge of the poor come.
I find it sad to see Nigerians defend this APC government on a daily basis when all it has done is to continuously make life miserable for them.
A fellow once said it would take Nigeria another 200 years to get better, citing countries like America to support his ridiculous claim. I began to lecture this fellow about Lee Kuan Yew of Singapore and how it took him just 10 years to lay the foundation for the economic prosperity Singapore enjoys today. This was a country that was literally described as a destitute, poor region by politicians back then.
Lee Kuan Yew even came to Nigeria in the 1960s, went back home and told his people that Nigeria had everything it needed to become a global superpower, but the only things holding it back were corruption and tribalism. He even wrote about how politicians in power at the time were draining Nigeria of its resources while fellow Nigerians, impoverished by the very policies of these politicians, were busy defending them.
Think about that for a moment. People who are suffering because of a government's policies are the same people defending the government responsible for their suffering. What kind of tragedy is this? How long will Nigerians continue to defend the very people making their lives miserable simply because they share the same tribe, religion or political affiliation?
I am 70 years old. I am not fighting for anything again because I have lived my life. I am fighting for the future of our children and the generations to come. If we do not come together to end tyranny because of tribal affiliations, religious differences and the scraps we receive from the tables of corrupt politicians, a day will come when our grandchildren and great-grandchildren will ask us questions about what we did when politicians were destroying Nigeria. And we will be too ashamed to give them an answer.
Imagine looking into the eyes of your grandchildren and having no answer when they ask why you allowed their future to be destroyed. Imagine explaining to them that you defended the people who made their parents poor because those politicians belonged to your tribe or shared your religion. Imagine telling them that you watched your country collapse and did nothing because you were receiving crumbs from the tables of the very people destroying it.
If you are allergic to good governance, I feel sorry for you. If your loyalty to a political party, tribe or religion is stronger than your love for Nigeria, then you are part of the problem. No politician is worth sacrificing the future of millions of Nigerian children for.
As for me, I am not allergic to good governance. And I will never defend any government that makes life miserable for the people it was elected to serve.
Federal government under the leadership of @officialABAT spent 9 trillion naira ment for the entire federation.
@seyimakinde said that.
