I’ve been looking into @FungoLabs lately and honestly, the idea caught my attention. It’s not just another NFT project trying to ride the same narrative. They’re exploring what happens when NFTs can actually have private information. Fungo is building around Fully Homomorphic Encryption, using Zama’s technology to keep certain NFT traits encrypted. Your NFT can exist publicly, while some of the information attached to it stays private. That’s a pretty interesting direction. The part I find most exciting is the potential beyond the Genesis collection. If encrypted NFTs can become something other projects easily build with, Fungo could become more than just an NFT collection. Their future plans around a launchpad and game also make the concept more interesting. Imagine having stats or traits that remain hidden while still being usable by a smart contract. That opens up a lot of possibilities. I’m still watching the project closely because it’s early and there are definitely things I want to see proven. But the technology and idea are enough to make me pay attention. For me, Fungo is a reminder that NFTs don’t have to be completely transparent to be useful. Privacy could become one of the next big layers of Web3.
