I have just this second finished editing (and re-writing) the final two chapters of my new Daniel Sawyer novel, The Money Trail. Time to celebrate and to get ready for a final review of the final proof. December 12th. Write it in on your calendars.
Four edits, two beta-reads, two printed proof read-throughs and my better half just spotted a typo in chapter four. "Taught Muscles"! Why can't the editors and editing tools spot something so obvious from its context? It's not an underwater scene set in a school for molluscs.
Have any other writers started purposely leaving typos in their manuscript so AI scanners don't think you wrote it using AI? No? Just me then...
