Retirement. Hold the champagne! Some Boomers who swallowed the promise of blissful post-work lives don’t have room for the bubbly, ‘cuz they’re too busy scrambling to survive without pre-retirement income. Not enough saved. Don’t be one of them! #pitmad #A #NF #BVM

A Brief History of Rigged Elections. For 250 years American elections were fine. People who won, won, people who lost, conceded. No whining or crying. In 2016 Trump won. Hillary Clinton didn't whine. She conceded like a true American. But then in 2020 something happened. For the first time in our history, a presidential nominee who lost, Donald Trump, refused to concede. He cried, caused an insurrection, and had to be dragged out of the White House by his cankles. Cut to 2024. Trump wins. Again, no whining by Kamala Harris. She concedes like a true American. Now we're 16 days from midterms. And Donald is whining already. Blaming illegals, ID laws, mail-in-ballots, voting machines, dead people, Antifa, and socialists. He's right. We do have a rigging problem. It's called Donald Trump. Our system worked great for every election at every level for 250 years... Until jelly donut took office.

It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can’t selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. But that’s exactly what the Trump Administration is doing to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota. To understand why this is so appalling, it’s important to know the facts. Congresswoman Omar came to this country with her father when she was 12 years old. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen. If Ilhan had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenship separately. But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically. Congresswoman Omar went on to graduate from college, work as a community organizer, become the first Somali-American legislator elected to public office in the U.S., and win a seat in Congress. There, she has been one of the Trump Administration’s fiercest critics, which has led the president to repeatedly single her out as someone who he believes does not belong in this country. Now the Administration is actively trying to deport Congresswoman Omar, seemingly based solely on the unsubstantiated theory that she was actually 18 when her father was naturalized, and therefore is not a citizen. Federal agents have raided her home, confiscated personal records, and seized her phone — all to try and uncover a nonexistent smoking gun from 20 years ago that will somehow make their case. Think about that. The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she has dared to criticize the president. And it’s not the first time this has happened. Under President Trump, the Justice Department has repeatedly gone after those he considers his political enemies — from the Attorney General of New York, to the former head of the FBI, to members of the Federal Reserve. In those cases, the prosecutions either stalled or were dismissed for having no basis in law, and the same is likely to happen in this case. But not before Congresswoman Omar’s life has been turned upside down, her legal bills have piled up, and she’s been forced to spend time fighting unsubstantiated charges instead of serving the people of Minnesota. The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omar’s political views. Because if this becomes the new normal, there’s no reason to believe it will stop with her — or that future presidents, in either party, won’t do the same.

What should also occur to people is that data centers will be military targets should another country ever hit breach our borders with drones or otherwise — which is yet another reason why not to have one in your community.

Pentagon Quietly Admits Troop Death Toll After Pete Hegseth's Pathological Lies Exposed Trump's "small price to pay" now stands at 21 dead. In a humiliating display of bureaucratic fraud, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's Pentagon has been forced to quietly walk back its own fake data — weeks after Hegseth publicly threw a tantrum and dismissed real reporting as "a complete lie." The Washington Post revealed that the Defense Department waited until late Friday night to bury the news that the official count of troops killed during U.S. operations against Iran has risen to 21. The authoritarian regime was forced to tack on two deaths it had spent weeks trying to ignore. Just last month, when six brave U.S. officials broke rank to warn that the Pentagon's public casualty database was actively suppressing the true number of service members lost, Hegseth didn't investigate. Instead, acting as a direct propaganda mouthpiece for the Trump regime, he lashed out on social media, branding the factual report "a complete lie." Now, the regime's deception has collapsed under the weight of reality. The newly conceded deaths include Army National Guard Maj. Sorffly Davius, who died in Kuwait on March 6, and an anonymous Navy sailor who died by suicide in September. The updated data also reveals a staggering 865 service members have been wounded. In another calculated accounting trick designed to minimize the perceived cost of the conflict, the military intentionally misclassified the May death of Sgt. Devin A. Seibel, who was killed in a training accident in Iraq. The Pentagon deceptively filed his death under the decade-old Operation Inherent Resolve rather than attributing it to the regime's current Iran conflict. When accounting for Seibel, 22 American troops have actually died in the Middle East since operations against Iran commenced on February 28. Two senior Democrats on the House Armed Services Committee issued a scathing rebuke of the Pentagon's forced "public correction," refusing to let the regime escape accountability. "There is no excuse for a mistake of this magnitude," Rep. Adam Smith (D-WA) and Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA) said in a joint statement, calling the cover-up "an embarrassment" for the military and noting that lawmakers had to manually intervene just to force the executive branch into telling the truth. Refusing to apologize or take any responsibility for Hegseth's public dishonesty, the Pentagon issued a cowardly, evasive statement that completely ignored the revised figures. Instead, it hid behind corporate jargon, claiming it would add a "pending adjudication" category to the system. In a final, Orwellian insult to the public, the department insisted it "continues to maintain a steadfast commitment to the transparent, accurate accounting of all Service member casualties" — even as its own leadership stands exposed for lying to the American people about the cost of war.
