Shit that sounds better in your head

Something happened after Korra rearranged their entire solar system
As talented as Amen Thompson is, it is hard to win playoff basketball with a perimeter player that can't shoot. Talented kid, lots of work to do.
Just in: Houston Rockets' Amen Thompson has agreed to a five-year, $208 million rookie-scale contract extension with the franchise, sources tell ESPN. The new deal includes a 10% trade kicker.
The luck:
Jason Kidd on if he ever brings up the 2011 Finals to LeBron:
“Nah, I would never bring that up… He would bring it up… That we got lucky… And I agreed with him.”

Precisely why I say revisionist history & hindsight warriors ruin basketball talks. I did not like the Pat Williams pick originally but in a lot of mocks, he went top 5. Pat Williams at 4, at the time, didn't seem like a reach as that draft class was considered top-heavy only.
Per @RTNBA “In 2020, GMs were asked which rookie would be the best player in five years:
1. James Wiseman 36%
2. LaMelo Ball 25%
3. Anthony Edwards 14%
4. Patrick Williams 11%
5. Isaac Okoro 7%”
Its hilarious because I'm seeing the same Bulls fans who dogged AK for wanting Mathruin switch up and support BG for going after Mathurin.
Those same fans are gonna turn on BG like they did to AK and GarPax and Michael Reinsdorfs will escape the bulk of the blame again.
"The Bulls tried to acquire Mathurin before last season’s trade deadline under the previous regime of Arturas Karnisovas. Now, under new executive Bryson Graham, Chicago has been linked to Mathurin again.
Chicago has the $9.37 million room mid-level exception. However, that won’t be enough to acquire Mathurin. Any realistic chance the Bulls have of acquiring Mathurin is via a sign-and-trade as the franchise looks to improve its roster and stay out of the relegation zone while rebuilding in the upcoming season.
Chicago’s new coaching staff is also said
to be fond of Mathurin, @HoopsHype has learned."

To be fair, it was always known if the Avatar died in the AS they'd lose the past lives. Aang did it twice. Nobody ever warned Korra or any Avatar that if Raava is ripped out of them and beaten senselessly that they'd lose the past lives.
Korra was treading in unknown territory that none of the past lives could have helped her with because the only one that understood her battle was Wan.
He's good for a poster or 2 this season
Hezonja -- the No. 5 pick in the 2015 draft -- receives an opportunity to revitalize his NBA career entering his 6th season in the league after last playing in 2019-20, and is set to play a key wing role for the Eastern conference finalists. Hezonja received strong interest to return to the NBA from Cleveland and Golden State.
I know a lot of dudes like seeing this. I just don't. Hopping from best case scenario to best case scenario to win rings will forever be the easy way out to me. Still respect the greatness of LeBron's talent level though.
The 76ers weren’t seriously considered by LeBron until they traded for Jaylen Brown — LeBron believes the Sixers have a better chance to win a title over Miami and Cleveland.
