Today is a square date!
3²/1²/45² AND if we read it in day/month/year format as one number (1092025), it is a square number!

Fun math fact: If you divide the first n positive odd numbers by the next n odd numbers, you will ALWAYS get 1/3. Here's why! (With a visual included!)

Data meetings should feel personal — because they are.
They’re about real students with real lives. Every name on the list deserves our attention, our belief, and our best effort.
But just naming kids won’t move the needle.
And naming kids without naming actions? That just becomes an excuse.
Behind every data point is a child.
And behind every plan should be a team of adults committed to doing something about it.
Let’s make sure our data conversations don’t stop at who’s behind.
Let’s talk about what we’re going to do — and do it.
No blame. No excuses. Just next steps.

100% agree 🙌🏾 From my classroom to IEP meetings, I’ve seen firsthand how student voice shifts the entire learning culture. When we listen—even when we can’t always act—we build trust, curiosity, and connection. That’s real growth. 💡📚 #StudentVoice #SpecialEdMatters – at Woodfield, SC

Today in a data meeting a teacher said,
“That student taught me to never say she will never get it.”
It brought tears to my eyes.
When we believe kids can, rest assured, they will.
Teachers are amazing.
I. Love. My. Job.

Many times we as adults allow our frustrations to get the best of us. We see the potential in every child and we want to be a part of their story, to be their champion, to help them reach their full potential.
Almost every educator I have ever met wants to be great for their students, but at times lose their way because they care so darn much that they worry they will let them down. And when this happens, our behavior can get the best of us. Keep believing and remember what you said when you sat in that interview chair. That is the best version of all of us. Never too late to #Recalibrate my friends. Blessings!
