small claude code tip for solo builders:
hooks run outside the model. a PreToolUse hook can block rm -rf, force pushes or prod deploys before the agent even tries.
rules in a prompt get forgotten in long sessions. a hook doesn't forget.
free design tool worth a look if you build solo: Penpot
open source, runs in the browser, self-hostable.
