Emergencies by definition are unexpected, so it’s common for patients to come to our emergency department without shoes or the proper clothing for the elements, depending on the reason for their visit.
They collected boxes of new shoes and clothes and donated them to our emergency department so we can continue to help our community through some of their toughest moments. And on delivery day, SPIRE bought meals for our emergency department colleagues.
The strong learning environment we have at HealthPartners leads to higher performing teams, better care and outcomes and healthier patients and members. businesswire.com/news/home/2…

Last May, her stepfather was working in the yard when he suddenly dropped to the ground and was unresponsive.
“In light of my personal story, it meant a lot to me to have the opportunity to take a CPR/AED class,” she said. “I definitely feel more confident that I would know what to do if I encountered someone who is unresponsive due to cardiac arrest.”
