JAY-Z | Family Feud | The Godfather
Verse 1’s “Family Feud” is about the Black (&) Hip Hop community.
(He also references Steve Harvey because he hosted Family Feud the game show😮💨🔥).
Verse 2’s “Family Feud” is about his own family(Bey), but it’s also about the Corleone family from The Godfather.
Someone in the family set Michael up to be k*lled & although Michael’s common sense helped save his life, the dangerous lifestyle ultimately caused his wife to leave. So yes he was betrayed by someone close, however him losing his wife was still his fault for the danger he brought to their home.
Someone told Bey about Jay’s infidelity, & it doesn’t matter who or why they “betrayed” him because he shouldn’t have been doing dirt in the 1st place.
That’s the lesson he referenced in the song. The same lesson he missed, even after watching The Godfather 100 times.

14 years ago today, JAY-Z sat next to visual artist Ellen Grossman on the NYC subway and she had no idea who he was 😭 (2012)
“Are you famous?”
“Yes. Not very famous, you don’t know me. But I’ll get there someday.”

The Raiders went from 3-14 with the #1 overall pick to a 3-0 start and could have/should have beat the Chiefs who have ran the NFL for a long time.
This isn’t the same ol’ Raiders. Great game. Lot to learn from with a young team. The league better watch out
That was a tough loss but regardless proud of my guys #RaiderNation P.S I knew that onside kick was gonna bite us in the ass
