They are euphemistically referred to as "Garillot" or 'Gorillas' by Israelis. They are often uncivil and nasty.
They are largely undereducated and are chosen because they will "follow orders." They often behave like brutes.
Any Israeli at any time could experience Israeli police aggression. The lower tier of the "shitur" are to blame.
Police brutality is real in Israel. I wish I could say it is limited to Ethiopian Jews. Unfortunately it is not.

I am a practicing Orthodox Jew but that doesn't matter. These people are on to something verging on the Messianic.
There are Kibbutzim and Moshavim involved in ecologically friendly ways of utilizing this beautiful yet harsh desert.
