Just for information Mick Hill has decided unfortunately that his position within the WFRA has become untenable and will no longer be part of the organisation and no longer post on this account. Take care everyone and remember #PlaySlowPlayFairPlayWell

Brilliant News, good luck with all you do.
After a long lay off we can look forward to making plans for a slow and safe return to walking football. The WFLA have now formed an initial Steering Committee from its members to take the WFLA forward and will be looking into a number of new projects over the coming weeks.

We've had 9 great sessions of football activity that have further demonstrated to players that you can defend to 2 metres with success. The mantra off your never too old to learn is alive a kicking in Uxbridge 🥅🏐💙👍
Seen a lot of coaches moaning around return to contact in training to play matches. To be honest test yourself to put on engaging fun sessions in the current climate,i can assure u if u do the kids won’t ask for matches at the end-competition isn’t always a match #fun

There are many that have worked behind the scenes to get it where it is today. Many of, which do not get the respect they rightly deserve. They have the focus, the vision and a belief in a joined up approach to the development of walking football. You know who you are.

A book like this which shows the positivity and great work carried out by so many should be the catalyst for a more joined up approach for the development of walking football. One can just hope🤔
