Kubo: Well, to begin with, when I'm drawing the manga... I actually have stories in mind for every single character. It's a matter of picking and choosing what to include, or rather... I cut out as much as possible, keeping only the parts that won't get in the way of Ichigo's story. That's basically how I go about putting the story together. And then, when we were adapting it into an anime, whenever they told me, “There's still room to add more here,” I'd add more material to those parts, and so on... So, with that in mind... Who would be interesting for a spin-off, I wonder... Within that timeline... who would it be...? It's not one of the main characters, but... In the part about Hash and Bazz-B's past, Yhwach's personal guards made an appearance... And I was thinking it might be fun to draw a little more of what was going on around that...
