One covenant of grace, from promise to fulfillment in Christ. How does Jeremiah 31 fit?
This chart compares the old and new covenants with Scripture and Reformed confessional support. With thanks to @derekradney.

I believe in the Holy Ghost;
the holy catholic Church;
the communion of saints;
the forgiveness of sins;
the resurrection of the body;
and the life everlasting. Amen.

As many of you know, I recently gave a eulogy for a dear family member. I’ve shared a few thoughts on remembering someone we love and speaking of our hope in Christ.
I sincerely hope you won’t need this anytime soon:

“See to it that you do not make of Christ a second Moses or of the Gospel a book of laws and doctrines.” —Martin Luther
What did Luther mean? His Preface to the New Testament is a masterful explanation of the gospel:

What if John Calvin himself had helped write a Reformed confession of faith?
He did.
If you call yourself a Calvinist, his view on baptism may surprise you.

“Please greet reverently Mr. John Sturm and John Calvin; I have read their books with special pleasure.”
—Martin Luther
I so wish Calvin and Luther had met face to face. Perhaps Calvin could have succeeded where Zwingli couldn’t.

How can a sinner stand righteous before God? That question drove Luther, shook Rome, and changed the church.
Our Reformed Reader’s Guide covers his life, theology, strongest works, and gravest failures:

For those considering amillennialism, here are 5 biblical reasons that convinced me to embrace this understanding of Christ’s kingdom and His return:

The outward and ordinary means whereby Christ communicateth to us the benefits of redemption, are…the Word, sacraments, and prayer; all which are made effectual to the elect for salvation.

Christians should read Scripture as Jesus and the apostles did:

In AD 451, the Council of Chalcedon defended Christ’s two natures against heresy, confessing one divine person, fully God and fully man, “without confusion, without change, without division, without separation.”

Why am I an amillennialist?
Ironically, one of the passages that convinces me most is the very passage dispensationalists think belongs to them: Revelation 20.
Read it literally, then ask yourself: Where is the millennium taking place?
Hint: Read Revelation 20:4 carefully.

If you come from a dispensational background, I know rethinking these things can feel costly.
But seeing the Church as the true Israel, the one people of God united to Christ, is not to lose anything, but to gain everything.

God hasn’t broken a single promise to Israel. Every promise finds its fulfillment in Christ.
One olive tree. One covenant people. Jew and Gentile united in one Savior.
