- Spent months chasing Ashworth, paid compensation to get him, then sacked him just 4 months later.
- Extended Ten Hag’s contract, only to sack him 3 months later.
- Appointed Amorim, a back three coach to manage a squad built for a back four, then sacked him 10 months later.
- Gave Carrick the permanent job after his successful interim spell, only to most likely sack him by the end of this month.
NO VISION. NO PROJECT. NO IDEA. INEOS ARE WORSE THAN THE GLAZERS.

By the way, let it be known that ALL OF US associated with Manchester United Football Club are the reason why we're in this mess.
The FANS — For massaging average players' egos, praising them for doing the bare minimum, and making some feel bigger than the club instead of demanding higher standards.
The PLAYERS — For not doing the basics on the pitch, being lazy, and not working hard enough for the badge.
The MANAGER — For favouritism, poor game management, and not being tactically good enough for a club the size of United.
The BOARD & OWNERS — For going with the cheaper option of giving Carrick the job permanently instead of sticking with the original plan of getting a top-level coach, for not backing him enough last summer, and now allowing this crisis to continue.

The Glazers are the biggest finessers of the 21st century.
Bought Manchester United through a leveraged takeover, saddling the club with debt rather than themselves.
Then sold a minority stake to INEOS, pocketed billions and handed over responsibility for football operations.
They’ve somehow managed to extract enormous wealth from United while distancing themselves from accountability for what happens on the pitch.

🚨𝗠𝗔𝗝𝗢𝗥 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Manchester united fans will start a nation wide protest against THE GLAZERS and THE INEOS ownership following the clubs terrible start to the season so far.
This won't be a normal physical protest, it's beyond that.

Erik ten Hag says he offered INEOS advice to improve their data department but they declined:
"I offered my knowledge and abilities to INEOS to help them to construct, but they were of the opinion that they already knew everything.
They were convinced of, say, the philosophy, the strategy, the work methods.
But they came from petrochemicals, from Formula 1, from cycling. Top football demands something totally different." [@lauriewhitwell]

You respect our club more than the owners 🙂
Welcome to Como, @ManUtd! 🔵
Founded in 1878, Manchester United are one of the most historic clubs in English football. Known as the Red Devils, the club have built a rich tradition across domestic and European competitions, with 20 English league titles, 13 FA Cups and three European Cups to their name.

🚨🗣️ Joe Cole on Michael Carrick:
“Like I said before, the spotlight will fall on Michael Carrick's feet, and he is not the problem, believe me. The club's rot has been there for many many years, and they [the club] need to get out of their own way. There are a lot of players in that Manchester United squad who probably are not good enough to play for Manchester United.”

Bruno Fernandes to TNT Sports: "It's a decision from the staff to not press man to man and sometimes leave space behind and try to get the ball, wait for them, but sometimes when you give space to these teams they get confidence."
On whether he is saying Michael Carrick got his tactics wrong: "That's on the manager and staff to see, not me. Sometimes you have to be more brave under pressure, take the risk of pressing high and making them uncomfortable."

INEOS record at Manchester United:
• Actively tried to replace Erik ten Hag (post-2023/24 end-of-season review after an 8th-place finish, with candidates contacted).
• Gave Ten Hag a new contract (triggered the one-year extension to 2026 in July 2024 after the FA Cup win).
• Sacked Ten Hag (October 2024 after a poor start).
• Appointed Rúben Amorim (November 2024).
• Oversaw the worst league finish in over 50 years (15th with 42 points in 2024-25 - lowest top-flight position and fewest points since relegation in 1973-74).
• Sacked Amorim (January 2026 after 14 months).
• Appointed the interim (Darren Fletcher briefly, then Michael Carrick through the end of the 2025-26 season; Carrick later made permanent in May 2026 after guiding them to 3rd).
• Set to sack the interim (Carrick under heavy pressure in October 2026 after a historically poor start to the 2026-27 season, with speculation and reports of concern despite no confirmed immediate plans to dismiss him).
Abysmal.
