I'm back from break! Much yapping... Much much yapping. Much of it.

You know how people say every year sucks? Well, this has been an especially hard year so far. 😓1 Kaito lost his job in February that supported us. We stop seeing my therapist who had just diagnosed me. We graduated from Ministry in Practice in May with 30 college credits. My dog, Kovu, died while we were away. My marriage went through the fire. I started a four-year college at Lee. Kaito and I started playing Piano and Guitar together at church. The roof we had just repaired for 20k a year ago was damaged in the August storm, leaving a huge hole again. My car broke down yesterday. We rehomed my cat, Kai, for his well-being. And among other family related things this year. ... So... with this new Nicaragua trip coming up November 2nd to dedicate the firetruck you guys raised 10k for, plus 5k for community needs, please pray we DO NOT get sick. Please. We still have no health insurance, and although Kaito has applied to multiple jobs during this time and found small temporary jobs, we are still waiting to hear back. By God's grace and mercy, we have always had enough to pay our bills and I have ZERO clue how. One anonymous person to another, one stream from another. One tip from another. We still somehow paid near 2k in our mortgage monthly since February without me even needing the part time job on top of it. Talk about miracles. We also had church leaders and family pray for us continually; they helped us mentally. ... All I know is that God knew we weren't weak, and He has given us strength beyond what I thought I could mentally take. He does all things for a reason. And one thing I learned is this: If God brings amazing things, why wouldn't I also accept the harder things? Despite all that, we are still good and hopeful. Next year might be the same in intensity, but we are prepared. Other times, I just keep pondering on what's next. Life has been a journey, and sometimes I feel like I'm drifting through waves.
