The Work Rights Centre reports on the growing backlog in #employmenttribunals. By 31 Dec 2025 there were 65,117 unresolved cases across England Wales and Scotland - a 43% increase over the previous year. The volume of cases received now exceeds the number being disposed of!

Is this a surprise? The #employmenttribunal system in Britain is nearing collapse due to a significant backlog of cases now at a record 58,000 says the Ministry of Justice. And it will get worse as new employee and union rights kick in. Complex cases are being scheduled for 2030!
