At first, it appeared that the auction was going to be done & dusted by July 29th - hence the initial urgency. Subsequently, we discovered the meeting was actually a preliminary scoping of bidding participants.
We now have until Q1 2023 to submit a legal bid.

The work of @bartcrezee is incredibly valuable in mapping & quantifying the scope of peatland in the Congo Basin.
We have 200+ people from around the globe building off this research & looking at alternatives to oil development.
